ROCHE BOBOIS PRO-AM DE BORDEAUX
This year, from October 13 to 15, 2023, the first edition of the Roche Bobois Pro-Am de Bordeaux took place.
A unique and prestigious event, dedicated to golf, wine and gastronomy on France’s finest golf courses, the Golf du Médoc Resort and the Grand Saint Émilionnais GC.
With its exceptional line-up of professionals, top-of-the-range partners and tailor-made services, the Roche Bobois Pro-Am de Bordeaux has become a not-to-be-missed event.
A great 1st day was spent on the Vignes course at the Golf du Médoc Resort.
The program included sporting performance, cohesion and a magnificent tasting session on the course with Château Malartic Lagravière.
To conclude this first day, a magnificent evening was held in the lounges of the InterContinental de Bordeaux to highlight our gastronomic partners and the finest wine estates which accompanied this Pro-Am.
From tastings of Sturia caviar and Signorini Tartufi truffles to Châteaux Talbot, Giscours, La Lagune, Grand Puy Ducasse, Malartic Lagravière and Cos d’Estournel, the evening ended with a prize-giving ceremony and the announcement of the winner of the Dinh Van draw.
The Grand Saint Émilionnais GC hosted the 2nd day of competition alongside Château Moulin Saint Georges, with a much-appreciated tasting on hole 9 and the distribution of Macarons de Saint Emilion throughout the course. At the end of the game, the players were welcomed by Deruelle cheeses, for a made-to-measure tasting with Élodie Deruelle.
The Gala dinner took place at Château Lascombes, with a cocktail reception accompanied by Henriot Champagnes, and a gastronomic meal punctuated by tastings of the finest Lascombes wines, with a perfect conclusion around the 2011 vintage.
A wonderful evening, with the presentation of magnificent prizes from our partners Influence by M, Caviar Sturia and Champagnes Henriot.
Back to the Golf du Médoc Resort, on the Châteaux course, for the final day of the Roche Bobois Pro-Am de Bordeaux, with Galeries Lafayette and Dunes Blanches de chez Pascal on hand for a tasting along the course. Another fine sporting performance on day 3 for our 80 participants.
Many thanks to all our partners who allowed us to maintain excellence throughout these 3 days of competition, concluding with a magnificent prize-giving ceremony with exceptional prizes.
Congratulations to Nicolas CALVET’s team with Nicolas FROTIER DE BAGNEUX, Timothy DERVILLE and Sebastien TURON for their 1st place in gross with a total of 230 points, and to Anthony GRENIER’s team with David LABOURGUIGNE, Stephane DESMARES and Olivier AUZERIE for their 1st place in net with 263 points.
This 1st edition of the Roche Bobois Pro-Am de Bordeaux was a real success, and we’re expecting many more participants next year !
